If TV shows were repackaged for India…

Indian television has never been great at originality. Most TV shows have been a poor copy at best. Some have been subtle, some blatant and some copied in a way that doesn’t even make a sense in the Indian context. Take for example – CID. Which police officer would wear a suit in India? And the offices would put any corporate to shame! I could go on and on about how TV series are in a state of akrasia (I recently learned it and was aching to use it), instead here are a list of ‘Indianized’ TV shows. If you do think of more, do leave a comment!
