I have never been the pill popper – preferring to let my body fight out any illness that I might get. However, I do need to consult a doctor once in a while to ensure that it’s a fair fight. It’s like Sunny Doel against the army in Gaddar – he needed the hand pump to make it a fight fair. While the potency of treatments are widely debated, one thing that scares me is the side effects of these pills. From creating dependency on these drugs to causing unwanted complications, one needs to be very careful while popping pills.

I always ask doctors what side effects each pill could give – purely because I am scared. So, here are a list of side effects I am really worried about:

1. Stomach related
2. Hair loss
3. Too much estrogen and becoming like Karan Johar
4. Too much testosterone and becoming like Rakhi Sawant
5. Lack of facial emotions to become like most Bollywood actors and actresses

So be sure to ask what side effects any pill is capable of giving you.  One very famous advocate of this is Keanu Reeves. In the movie Matrix, his character Neo is asked to choose between two pills.

While Keanu is fighting his expressive demons, I can’t help but wonder – are there any pills with good side effects? What about cool ones like flying or getting a Scottish accent like Connery?
